Did you know that all of us have an innate capacity to be fruitful and to multiply (Genesis 1:28). Did you know that you have unique abilities within you that nobody else has? Did you know that God created and blessed us with everything we need to enable us to work? 

With our abilities, we all can offer some form of labour or service in return for pay. Our minds, hands, feet, eyes, ears, mouths co-ordinate to help us function daily and facilitate us to fulfil God’s command at creation that we be fruitful and multiply. God’s intricate plan for our lives is manifested through who we are and what we do.

With that blessing of capacity in us, if we work, we will bear fruit. Our work and activities must however conform to the law, to godliness, and to morality. Athletes work with their feet; farmers work with their hands; computer programmers work with their fingers; teachers work with their mouths; counsellors work with their ears, and the list goes on. These individuals and indeed, all of us use the God-given body parts, guided by our minds, to work and make money as we serve God and humanity.  

Have you discovered your God-given abilities and the innate capacity within you? Have you fully exploited those abilities and capacities to enable you earn a living? What are you best at doing? What do you naturally enjoy doing most? As you exploit your abilities and capacities, you will make money and this will contribute to your financial wellbeing.
